Joseph Michael Wright was ordained into the Ministry November 24, 1984.
A former educator and underground coal miner, he began a full time ministry in 1987.
He is founder and president of New Life in Christ Ministries, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit Organization. He and his wife, Shirley, reside in Henderson, Kentucky. Joe is a graduate of Murray State University located in Murray, Kentucky. He also graduated from Florida Theological Seminary and Christian University in Orlando, Florida. He serves on the Board of Reference at International Bible College in San Antonio, Texas. He is a Member of International Ministerial Association, Church on the Rock International and actively participates in an Independent Ministerial Alliance. He is an active Evangelist and attends Faith Temple Church in Owensboro, Kentucky.

On April 17, 1962 at Bible Center Church in Evansville, Indiana, Joseph Michael Wright repented of his sins, received the Holy Ghost, and was baptized in water. Joe Wright had not lived a perfect life and had made many mistakes and terrible decisions. Although called by God at the age of eleven, it was many years before that Joe totally surrendered his life to God and accepted his ministry call and anointed gifting. Nevertheless, from all failure, despair and sorrowful mistakes, Joe Wright is now adamant and unwavering. His understanding of God’s Grace, Mercy and forgiveness is apparent and because he, too, was a prodigal Son that returned to his Father.

Joe Wright travels throughout America preaching to Churches, Ministerial Conferences and conducts Revivals and special meetings. Ministering with a Prophetic Anointing, he believes in the supernatural manifestation of the Holy Ghost with signs following. His anointed Gifts, Words of Knowledge and Healing produce a constant atmosphere of Miracles and Deliverances. With Evangelistic preaching, he emphasizes the simplicity and purity of Jesus Christ. This Ministry is committed to equip and encourage believers to stir up their gifting, to reclaim those out of fellowship and to win the unsaved to Christ.
